At the Ukrainian farms we can quite often seen underfilled cattle production capacity and small technological groups. Due to the lack of quality repair stock, low production cows are kept in herds for too long.

Breeding enterprises of Ukraine can not meet the needs in heifers of everyone local milk producers. Therefore, farmers are looking for valuable goods abroad in Europe, USA and Australia. Foreign heifers are not cheap, at least2-3thousand dollars per head, and buy it sometimes rather difficult. Heifers in Ukraine are in weight of gold. This is a perennial problem, and it is logical to question where do they take them?
