An international conference dedicated to modern technologies in goat and sheep breeding, and its management took place on May, 16. It brought together owners of acting goat farms, and those who are just planning to start this business. As well as industry experts, equipment and genetics suppliers, analysts and economists. Participants shared their experiences and ideas, discussed strategy of dairy farming development. Today a considerable demand for products made of goat and sheep milk exists in Ukraine and worldwide. It's not just about gourmands who are able to assess an unsurpassed taste of cheese. The market potential is great - hence the production is rather promising. Speakers, including Ukrainian experts and foreign visitors, expressed their vision of how to use successfully the opportunity to plan a business, design a farm, select equipment and genetics to establish an efficient production.

The main speaker was an independent consultant, founder and owner of a consulting company Capriscope Emiel van Haaren from the Netherlands. He spoke about his international experience of building goat and sheep farms, as well as the main stages of production, when you start from scratch.
