New technologies in agriculture, which are primarily aimed at increasing productivity in crop production, lead to an increase in demand and prices for fertilizer and energy. In such circumstances, more and more agricultural enterprises focused on the effectiveness of their own work, are forced to make rational use of the available resources. Much of these resources is literally under your feet — this crop residues and straw.

Today, the straw is used primarily as:

• organic fertilizer in crop production in order to restore soil fertility;

• addition to roughage and litter in livestock;

• energy source for the production of thermal energy.
