Brewer’s grain

The main factors determining the price of grain in the domestic market, is a reorientation of the export sales of the product and the fluctuations of the national currency. The tone is set in pricing the big players. In late April, Ukraine's grain worth 4600-5000 USD./t (EXW).

At the beginning of the year it was a deficit of product. This was due to the already mentioned export orientation of sales, and the overall reduction in beer production. In the first three months of 2015 it was produced 25.1% less (up to 34.1 million. Dal) in comparison with I quarter of 2014. In addition, the level of supply brewers grain market also affects the seasonality of the production of beer. But since March, breweries increase production by accumulating the basic product for the summer season. During March production reached 15.4 million. Dal. Therefore the problem of shortage of brewers’grains in Ukraine is gradually disappearing.

Taking into account the start of the season brewing, reduced purchase prices for the raw materials market and the revaluation of the hryvnia, the price of brewer’s grain will decrease.
