Fattening of steers of dairy breeds
In Ukraine the relation to growing calves of dairy breeds for meat is unambiguous. Yet a lot of farms fatten them. We decided to talk about the North American experience of keeping and fattening animals in this category. Also we share the most recent factual information, which was received from the participants of the study tour, organized by FAO and EBRD. Five days Ukrainian experts spent in Iowa (USA), exploring the question of meat production, including beef.
