As promised, one more piece of information from Lindel Whitelock, and this time about reproduction program on the dairy farm «Larson Acres» (Evansville, Wisconsin). Thanks to this program they have high productivity and a sufficient number of calves to repair their own herds and for sale.

Good reproduction on the farm «Larson Acres» is the result of an integrated approach to meeting the needs of the animals. It includes the following aspects:

• proper feeding;
• minimal changes, that is, at least the movement of animals from one section to another;
• health;
• comfort.
