Insemination of problem cow

Intensive insemination of dairy cows can adversely affect their reproduction. In the herd, there are animals that have to be repeatedly inseminated during several sexual cycles.

Such cows are considered to be problematic/problem cows and cause significant damage to dairy farms.

Ram Kasimanickam, leading veterinarian, teacher of the faculty of veterinary medicine of the University of Washington (USA) shares his experience of diagnosis and treatment of problem cows.
