The dairy complex owned by LLC «Kishchentsi» (Dobraya village, Mankovsky district, Cherkasy region) is one of the most intriguing objects on the dairy map of Ukraine. The Dutchman Kees Huizinga manages the farm for many years. For the development of the dairy sector he hires foreigners. First, the agrarians from almost the entire country came to Dobra village to see how cows are housed in reconstructed barns on an inclined floor with a deep litter and are milked in their own projected parlour. Subsequently, the same system was implemented in a new barn, also new milking equipment, modern calf pen (0-2 months), sheds for young stock, silage pits appeared. Everything that is here is permeated with rationality and practicality. Comfort and health of animals is in the center of attention. What’s next?
