Dairy Iowa: Secrets of Success

For someone who has at least a general idea of world agriculture, Iowa is more associated with the cultivation of corn (because it is located in the heart of the so-called corn belt of the United States) and, accordingly, with the production of pork, beef and chicken. The state's contribution to the nation's total tank is poorly over 2 million tons, it does not look as impressive as California, for example, with its 18 million or Wisconsin with almost 14 million. Yet there is a thing worth paying attention and which is generally inherent in dairy US industry - high efficiency. So what are the pillars that hold the industry?
