Israel — dairy leader of the XXI century

Yet in the plane, before landing in Tel Aviv, watching the endless sands, it was hard to imagine how one can be engage dairy cattle breeding in the desert and still achieve better global results. From the airport we immediately headed to the north of the country, where we spent the first night in Beit Rimor Kibbutz under the Golan Heights. All around sets the feeling that the country is in a state of constant expectation of war: military helicopters “Apache”, leading permanent patrols, lots of armed soldiers in city streets.

Kibbutz is a form of agricultural production, something like a commune or Soviet collective farm, launched in early 1920s of the last century. Kibbutz members jointly own the means of production. Previously, the main goal of each kibbutz was to obtain agricultural products, but now such communes are engaged also in industrial production. Each member of the commune knows his responsibility, because apart from controlling the production, the kibbutz controls social facilities: cafeteria, kindergartens, sports clubs etc.

Modern kibbutz is not just an efficient agricultural producer, but also a modern hotel complex, with different possibilities for leisure tourists, so-called green tourism which brings great benefits, as Israel is not just a tourist country, but also a distinguished center for pilgrims.
