Oleg Shyshkunov: “When I am asked how come that in comparison with the year 2008 our cows increased milk yields in 2,400 liters, I reply — one of the components of success is the acquisition of high-quality sperm. However, sperm production is not all. Having improved heifers, we clearly apply the Agrosoiuz growth technology, when since birth till copulation age animals are to have steady growth in 750 grams daily. If an animal is of quality breeding, if a cow calves normally, and calves have acceptable conditions for cultivation and fertilization, the yield will not disappear”.

What calves growth technology does the farm use?

On the farm calves are grown according to the so-called called Agrosoiuz growth technology, avoiding any deviation from the rules.

With the help of the probe, a newborn calf if feed with colostrum and at any ambient temperature (whether it’s 5 degrees above zero in spring or 25 degrees below zero in winter) it is moved straight into the cage.

Getting concentrated feed being five days old, in two months the calf has to eat a kilogram of fodder.

According to the technology, standard consumption of milk for the entire period of feeding (46–47 days) is reduced by 180–200 liters (3 liters per day).

The main objective is a stable 750-gram daily increase heifer’s lifelong (till copulation age), it automatically means “to raise a healthy cow”.
