Cinderella of food elite

Recently, the usefulness of milk for human health is often questionable. Numerous publications in various media (including television) implement abstracts: "milk is good only for children", "elderly people drink bad milk," milk is bad because of lactose intolerance "(how many people - is not mentioned) "Milk helps set overweight", "what we now drink - is not milk," all cows are sick, "all milk is from powder, all butter is from palm oil", etc. Only lazy did not join this chorus.

It is senseless to say that a massive mass media assault is the only reason for reduced consumption of milk. There are many reasons, among them claims to the quality of some dairy products and prices. The result is: Statistics shows that consumption of dairy products every year among the population ofUkraineis decreasing. It is now almost twice less than the physiologically reasonable rate. At the same time as the health of children and youth, the population in general is deteriorating. Again, we will not insist that the only reason for this is that we under eat milk products. But hardly anyone would deny the role of healthy eating, in which last place takes milk and dairy products in maintaining health. The problem is that when consumers persistently imposed certain stereotype of milk as the product of which is unknown what more - benefit or harm, the question arises - whether consumers will carry him to a healthy diet?

Different people value different products, and culinary preferences in different parts of the world are different. Somewhere people eat fried insects and assure that it is very tasty, other consider a delicacy's rather rancid fish. Although in recent years, globalization has very significant impact on the national culinary traditions of people, Ukrainians are unlikely to betray herring with onion and massively over to the mainland, or instead of cherry and raspberry jam will cook with avocado and mango. In the nutrition of our people and of all other ages consisted certain traditions, and dairy products for the Ukrainian cuisine has always taken pride of place. Until now. In recent years, there are obvious changes in respect of our customers to milk and dairy products. And these changes are disturbing. Milk, a product whose consumption leads to gaining weight, can not inspire. Do you think if a group of Ukrainian teenagers with perfectly normal body mass index, 20% of which consider themselves "fat”. The children refuse. Radically. Physicians know consequences very well.
